This Minneapolis law firm wanted to be on the web, but site development efforts had languished for over two years because there was no one on staff with the time (and background) to direct the project. As project manager I met with the firm's owner to get a sense of her goals for the site. Then I worked with the designer and developer to get the pages in place and functioning. Content writing and loading came next. In about four months the site that had been dead in the water was live, online and generating activity.

Tolomatic, Inc. Business Blog
Tolomatic makes linear actuators, a type of industrial automation component. They were online with an extensive website but wanted to enhance their SEO efforts and position as an industry thought leader with a blog.
I've met the first objective by including strategic keywords and links in each post. To address the second objective, I've used Tolomatic's whitepapers as fodder for blogposts - re-interpreting content in everyday language and even re-purposing it as infographics and slideshows.
The blog is in its second year and has gained the attention of distributors and key trade editors while helping fuel a 10+% increase in website visits.

SoundPoint Audiology Newsletter
SoundPoint, a chain of hearing health clinics, wanted to keep in touch with current patients and prospects. I thought a short, informative, easy-to-read newsletter would be just the thing.
To improve the odds that staff would support the new venture, I asked them to select the name. (We used SurveyMonkey to collect votes from all our locations.) Once we had a name I worked with company leadership to plan content, wrote copy and worked with our designer and printer to produce an attractive, affordable newsletter.
Clinic managers got positive reports on the newsletter from patients. Having the newsletter to talk about made follow-up calls to prospects much easier.
